The Neon Road announces the release of a new personalized poster "Yosemite". This posters displays the grandure of Yosemite National Park and focuses on the iconic Half Dome in winter.
As part of the new National Park series, this is the first of many personalized prints with America's national parks as the subject. Each print is a 30" x 24", giclee process print, which the purchaser can personalized with a family name (or any name for that matter) and a date line.

The Neon Road store opened it's doors with a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 8, 2011. The new store, operated by Anthony, Nancci, and Rebekah Ross, is located on the way to Yosemite National Park, in the historic town of Mariposa, California.
The shop is a unique eclectic mixture of paintings, drawings, posters, gifts, and business graphics. Featured is the pencil artwork of Nancci Ross and the paintings of Anthony Ross. The store also features photography by Dr. Thomas Weig and carries the unique personalized art prints called FantaSigns.
One of the shop's core business dealings is with creation of business graphics for the Mariposa, California, region. They have over twenty-five years of experience in advertising design, illustration, flyers, and much more. One of the features of The Neon Road is the ability to produce large format printing for local businesses.
The Neon Road is located at the intersection of State Highway 140 and State Highway 49 North (also known as the four-way stop), and is located adjacent to the Mariposa Visitor's Center. The historic Bluebird Theater in Denver, Colorado, was built in 1913 as a movie house. Through the years it has reincarnated into a music showplace now owned by AEG Live, which showcases all aspects of live music performance.
The original acrylic on canvas painting of the theater marquee was painted in 2004 by artist Anthony Ross, and prints are available at Fine Art America.

The Wagon Wheel Motel, located on Route 66 in Cuba, Missouri, will celebrate it's 75th anniversary on August 20-21. This Route 66 landmark will host a two-day "open house" where there will be games, tours of the rooms, food, book signings, music, and more.
To mark the special occassion, Connie Echols - the owner of the Wagon Wheel - will be offering rooms for the price of $3.50 a night - that's 1930's pricing.

Chevrolet is sponsoring a film contest where the winner will have their film shown in a 30-second spot during the Super Bowl.
In partnership with London-based MoFilm, Chevrolet wants amateur filmmakers around the world to get their kicks on Route 66. The major requirement is that it be done in a Chevrolet.
The Grand Prize, which includes the Super Bowl showing, is a once in a lifetime tirp to the New Horizons Film Festival 2011, in Poland. In addition, the winner will receive $8000 in price money, round trip travel for two and 3 nights accommodations. Second prize is $4,000, third prize is $2,000, fourth and fifth prizes are $1,000 each.
