Deep in the heart of Texas is the city of Fort Worth. And deep in Fort Worth is the world famous Stock Yards off of I35W.
This wonderful neon sign comes complete with a golden cow (steer?). Located in the front of Riscky's Steak House this neon sign has been a part of the Stock Yards for years. In 1927 Polish immigrant Joe Risky, and co-owner Mary Bunkervitch, opened Riscky's Grocery & Market. They became a "Cowtown" favorite and has been in business ever since.
